The Delray Beach Historical Society went above and beyond to create an unforgettable holiday surprise for our 4th graders! On December 21st, our aftercare students from FRC were treated to an enriching field trip at the DBHS. They embarked on an exciting journey through the museum and garden and immersed themselves in ornament making and various craft projects. The day culminated in a fantastic pizza dinner and ice cream feast. For many of our students, this trip was a thrilling introduction to the DBHS, despite its close proximity to our campus. It proved to be an engaging and educational experience, offering insights into Delray Beach’s history, showcasing historical artifacts, hosting a trivia contest, and ending on a high note with the great dinner. The students felt truly valued and cherished. A big thank you to the DBHS for pulling out all the stops, making our kids’ afternoon incredibly memorable.
